At the 1964 New York World's Fair was the first time fondue was eaten by Americans and it became a craze and many fondue parties were had during the rest of the 1960's and into the 1970's. It is believed eating fondue originated in the 16th century in a Swiss town. It was a way for peasants to eat their cheese, bread and wine during the winter months. We have this Vintage Wood Handled Fondue Fork Set. There are 6 pieces in the set with a different color ball at the end of the wood handle. Break out your fondue set and use these at your next fondue party! There are no rust spots on the metal or a makers mark.
