Our Story

Hi, I'm so glad you're here!

My name is Shelly Luan and I'm the founder of Gordelly, Unlimited. I'm blessed enough to have a husband that supports and assists me when he can on this dream of mine. This is a female-owned small business with just myself as the employee doing all the things necessary for a small business to succeed. I tell you all this, so when you look around and notice things are not perfect like the big box websites, just know that there is a real person on the other side of the screen trying to realize her dream.

I appreciate you putting your trust in Gordelly, Unlimited when you make a purchase with us. Shopping online or in-store can be a tough decision. You have tons of places to shop from and sometimes you don't know who to trust with your hard earned money. I get it. It takes time to build relationships and my wish is to build friendships with my customers by earning that trust.

Mission:

To create or recall memories from the scent of our candles to childhood memories that our vintage products invoke.

Vision:

We look to a future where no one loses their own history.

Where did the name come from?

The name Gordelly came about a 10 years ago as a silly joke between my husband and I. I thought it would be funny to combine my husband's name Gordon with my name, Shelly, and came up with Gordelly and it stuck.

History

Gordelly, Unlimited was founded in November 2014, when I began selling on Amazon. In June 2017, I opened this website as I wanted to give a more personal touch and get to know my customers better.  Later in October 2017, the company expanded to the vintage market and opened up a booth in the Carlsbad Village Art and Antique Mall until August of 2019 when the mall closed.

With the closing of the Mall, it was now or never to realize my dream of having my own store. The boutique had a soft opening in Escondido, CA at the end of August 2019. After 2 years, I made the painful decision to close the boutique. I now do handmade and vintage pop up markets in the Southern CA area and continue this website.
